Setting the Conditions for a Premium
Once you create a premium, you must set up the conditions that will make this premium available to a donor as well as assign it to a specific fund. For example, you may wish to make a premium available to those donors who make a gift between $100 and $300 dollars. Setting these conditions allow you to specify those amounts so that this premium is only made available when a gift meets the conditions that are set.
To set the conditions for a premium, complete the following steps:
- Go to the Fundraising Premium Profile for the premium for which you wish to set the conditions.
- Click the Add icon on the premium selections child form.The Add - Fundraising Premium Selection page opens.
- Fill in the fields according to the table below:
Fields Required? Description premium name Required Select the premium for the drop-down list. This is the premium that conditions apply to. This field defaults to the name of the premium attached to the profile you opened. selection code Required Enter a friendly name for the selection rules. This is the name users see in the drop-down list. selection description Required Enter a description of the premium. selection min amount Required Enter the minimum donation amount that qualifies for the premium. Leave this field blank to allow every donation made to qualify for the premium. selection max amount Required Enter the maximum donation amount that qualifies for the premium. Leave this field blank to make this premium available to all donations over the minimum with no upper limit. - Click the Save button to add the condition under the premium selections child form. Click the Cancel button to return to the Fundraising Premium Profile without saving your changes.
